Freaky Tuesday!
It was around 7:00PM on a Tuesday night, we just finished dinner and AC and Michael were reading books on the couch while Luke and I were playing in the playroom when our lights started going crazy, coming on and off and making loud noises. After a few seconds we completely lost power. Next we heard a person running to our front door and when we answered she asked, "do you have a phone, you need to call 911." At first I thought there had been a wreck but as we walked outside with her she explained what she had just witnessed. A limb had fallen on a wire and caused the wires connected to the box on the side of the house to burst out of the box taking the pole and everything around it out. She said it was like witnessing a fireworks show on the side of our house and she was not sure if it was going to cause anything else to blow up. She was visibly shaken. We called 911 and a fire truck came until the utility company came. Long story short... we are just fine, nothing else blew up but we had to wait until the next day for an electrician to come replace the box and wires so we packed up and headed to the Strawbridges for the night!
The limb that fell.
A morning at Sea World.
AC and Michael took a morning trip to Silver Springs.
Thanks to the generosity of her Rooney, AC has started a dance class. She LOVES it. The class in an hour each week and she counts down the days until her next class. The class consists of ballet, tap and tumbling.
During L's nap one day, AC and I decided to make a fort. It was the most basic fort one could make but she LOVED it!
Michael having a little fun with the camera before bed time.
The piano has been L's favorite toy since he has learned to crawl. I normally have to sit him down because he wants to stand up and play. AC loves to play and sing along with him!
September started with me wanting to paint L's room. I thought we could finish prepping, painting and clean-up in 2 hours but it took a little longer due to a little spill! The handle on the container Michael was using broke which caused paint to fly EVERYWHERE, including all over Michael. Michael painted with bags on his feet the rest of the night! I love the color and am glad we chose to go with blue.
