Our Family: March Madness

Some people associate March with basketball (which I am sure Michael does) but I associate it with BIRTHDAYS. Moms and Amy Rauls- March 13th, L- March 17th, AC-March 18. To top it off Michael and I were able to spend a few days together in Orlando. Here are the kids a few days before the birthday madness!

March 17th- L's 1st Birthday
L's actually birthday was pretty low-key. AC and her friend decorated cupcakes for him (good excuse huh?). They enjoyed the cupcakes but L was not a fan. I do have a few pictures of them trying to force the icing in his mouth but he was not interested.

March 18th- AC's 3rd birthday
AC's birthday was jammed packed. It started with an early morning DR's visit. AC was in the 75% for height and 35% for weight. L was 15% for height and 30% in weight. Crazy difference! L walked away with an ear-infection and AC walked away with a shot. AC and I attended MOPS and then rushed home to have lunch with Grandma and Gretchen who came up from Lakeland for the day. The girls had a great time playing together and especially loved their McDonalds tea party! After naps AC went to her dance class. The Rauls had driven in town just in time to watch. After dinner AC and L opened their presents from Rooney, Grandfather and M and I. L loved his John Deer tracker and AC's favorite present was her bubble lawn mower from Uncle Andy. My mom made her a beautiful dress that she will where tomorrow for Easter.

AC's birthday party with friends
On Saturday AC had a party with some of her friends at the church. Since she spent her birthday in the hospital with me last year I felt like she deserved a "fun party." It was a beautiful day and we all enjoyed the company of our friends.
